SUPER 6: Nigel Bradham

There would be little arguing with the fact that the best player we have ever had as a SUPER 6 was NFC's Ernie Sims. So then you know the regard with which we hold tonight's choice when we say he might be that good. Elton Gumbel has more on Wakulla blue chip linebacker Nigel Bradham.

He's already being compared to younger versions of some of the most dominating athletes in the NFL and heading into his senior year, no high school linebacker is more vicious or as intimidating as Wakulla High's Nigel Bradham.

Nigel Bradham said, "I'm glad I'm being compared to Derrick Brooks and Marvin Jones because those guys are great guys, basically they're my role models."

Having already verbally committed to play college ball at FSU, the 6-foot-3, 230-pound missile can now just focus on his senior season and exploding on every opponent.

Scott Klese said, "Explosive. If I had to say one thing, he's just explosive, an impact player. He's a difference maker."

Nigel Bradham said, "You dream of making that big hit in a big game for your team to give the team motivation."

And there's still another reason that has this big War Eagle motivated to fly high.

Nigel Bradham said, "I want to be Mr. Football in the state of Florida!"

And if that happens, let's just say next February could see the nation's top recruit, coming out of Wakulla High.

Other Bradham quotables:
"Now the college process has slowed down since I've committed to FSU. I don't pay attention to it no more, so now I'm just working hard and staying focused because I know what school I chose. I'm gonna stay focused and ready to go to college and finish out my senior year."

"It's difficult but it makes me work harder and want to be around the ball more to help my teammates any way I can."

"I'll describe it as going out there and playing hard... I do what I can do and play with my best ability."

"Team goals, State Championship like always! I gotta get me a ring some kind of way. Individual goals? I want to be Mr. Football in the state of Florida, so hopefully I'll get the chance to be Mr. Football."
