FSU Baseball Ousted from ACC Tourney

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Clemson pitcher David Kopp threw a
six-hitter in the first complete game of his career to lead the
Tigers to a 5-to-1 win today over top-seeded Florida State in the
A-C-C Baseball Championships.
Kopp held Florida State's offense to just five singles and a
double. He didn't walk any batters and struck out seven. Kopp lost
his bid for a shutout when Florida State's Jack Rye hit a one-out
double in the ninth inning to drive home Florida State's only run.
Clemson scored runs in four different innings to hand Florida
State's Bryan Henry his first loss of the year.
