TALLAHASSEE - It's that time of year for the Florida State Seminoles. With the rest of the local sports scene cooling down, the Noles baseball team receives the full spotlight. We found out yesterday, that the spotlight will be on Dick Howser Stadium as FSU was chosen as a Super Regional host site.
First comes the regional games. It opens with Stetson and Mississippi State going at Friday afternoon. That's the undercard for the Interstate matchup between FAMU rival Bethune Cookman and Florida State at 7 PM.
This is not a team to be taken lightly, against the Gators, a team that took 2 of 3 from the Noles, B.C.C lost a tight one 5-3, but the Noles tell us they control their own destiny.
