Titans Overcome Blackbirds Time-Consuming Strategy

TALLAHASSEE - The Tallahassee Titans are ideally a safe bet for instant offense and high-scoring games, yet there was some concern early in last night's contest when the score was just 7-0 Titans after the first quarter.

Or as the Baltimore Blackbirds would probably now call it, the beginning of the end.

Give Baltimore credit, with a team comprised of less talent, they had some good strategy running the ball and using short passes to eat up the clock and keep the ball out of the hands of Titans QB Ben Dougherty.

But when it takes just one play for the Titans to score, you can see how the Blackbirds would get tired. Last night's final score was 70-43.
