Miami Dolphins to Swim Overseas

LONDON (AP) - The Miami Dolphins' decision to play in Europe this season cost them one of their eight home games.

That's not a problem for Dolphins coach Cam Cameron. There's always the playoffs. He's in London today, where the Dolphins take on the New York Giants on October 28th.

The game at the rebuilt Wembley Stadium, the traditional home of England's national soccer team, will be the first regular-season NFL game played outside North America.

Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga says they want more people to know about American football, adding that several thousand fans from Miami are expected to make the trip to watch the “home” game.

Cameron says the team is expecting to leave Miami on the Thursday night before the game, and arrive in London on Friday morning to give them time to acclimate.

When the Dolphins do land in London, it will likely be with Trent Green as the starting quarterback.
