Big doings in Indiana, site of the USA Outdoors Track and Field Championships. All the buzz was on FSU's Walter Dix, who is responsible for the fastest time in the 100-meters this year at 9.93.
In the semifinals Tyson Gay crossed the finish line first. In the Finals, Gay only picked up speed. His stellar 9.84, shatters Dix's mark by 9 hundredths of a second.
Along with Gay, Dix, and Holliday will be invited to the World's Finals, but the latter two are both likely to decline considering their workload in the college events just weeks ago.
