Bobby Butler was a Defensive back on Bobby Bowden's first recruiting class at FSU... Butler now is in the FSU Hall of Fame and had a 12-year career with the Atlanta Falcoms... Brice Butler is his son and attends Norcross High School in Northwest Georgia. Oh yeah, he also happens to be teh 6th best high school recruit in the peach state according to Rivals.com...
And being a descendant of the Garnet & Gold, you just knew this 4-Star wideout would have FSU among his top choices.
He dropped his Top-10 list of choices last week to Rivals.com and said FSU was near the head of the class.
"FSU stacks up with the best of them! I'd say FSU is Top 3, no doubt. Florida State has the history, my dad came here, you know they got good coaches and stuff like that so I mean... I don't know. I'm going to sit at home and pray and hope one day I wake up and know where to go," said Norcross WR Brice Butler
"Personally, I'm trying to get stronger and work on catching with my hands better. I'm working on my speed a lot more too."
SENIOR SEASON GOALS?
"We went to the playoffs for the second year in-a-row and made it to the 3rd round. We were (12-1), and got upset... So far, work is going good this summer. Hopefully, we'll win a State Championship this year."
"Honestly, my overall goal is to go to the NFL and try to surpass jerry Rice's records... That's a hard record to break but I'm just trying to go to the NFL."
