Wally's Back To His Winning Ways

There are plenty of questions that surround South Georgia Peanuts Manager Wally Backman, but they have very little to do with what he delivers on the diamond.

Just like his days as a World Series Champion on the Mets, or an award-winning manager in the Arizona Diamondbacks farm system, Backman has brought his winning ways to Paul Eames Stadium in Albany, Georgia.

There he has the Peanuts at 23-8, running away with the South Coast League's best record.
