Kids Go Balling at Charlie Wards Annual Basketball Camp

Kids of all ages hit the courts in Thomasville as Charlie Ward, a hometown hero holds his 10TH Annual Basketball Camp. The Florida State hall of famer looks forward to helping the young ballers every year. Ward says, "It gives the community an opportunity to be involved in the kids lives and I am just happy to be able to continue to do it."

During the two day camp young athletes were all ears, listening to the Heisman Trophy winner and former NBA star. Jamichael Tribue attended his forth Charlie Ward Basketball Camp. "I know that if I can go out on the court and do everything they taught me here that I will be a good player."

Grant Studdard talks about all of the basketball tips he learned at the camp. "We've learned about the triple threat position, the v-cuts, the l-cuts, jump shots, and free throws." Studdard says the experience was surreal. He's just awesome. Playing football in college and then going to play basketball in the pros, he can do it all." Maybe learning from the man who can do it all will help these basketball players step up their game, leading to future success on the hard court.
