A law goes into effect today that means one percent of Florida high school athletes who take part in football, baseball or weightlifting programs will be randomly tested for steroid use.
The Florida High School Athletics Association will supervise the testing.
Florida is the second state to sign a steroid testing bill for high school athletes.
