In South Georgia, a few studs spent Wednesday on the range. The Tift County Trap & Skeet Shooting Team are unofficially ranked 8th in the nation.
They recently competed in South Dakota, and when it comes to shotguns, clay pigeons don't stand a chance. Bonded together through sport and competition, the group is preaching both safety and accuracy.
The team was established back in 2000 and over the years has been able to keep kids positive and focused on achieving a goal.
"We've been together as a team for all four years, so to finally end out on our last year by winning state and going on and competing in Nationals was a great feeling," said Jeremy McKellar, Tift Co. Trap & Skeet Shooter.
