ATLANTA (AP)_ Chris Greisen threw for 301 yards and seven
touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown to help the Georgia Force
defeat the Philadelphia Soul 65-to-39 tonight.
The Force (15-2) will host the Columbus Destroyers for the
National Conference Championship on Saturday.
The Force broke out to an early 14-to-0 lead after wide receiver
Troy Bergeron took the opening kickoff 56 yards for a touchdown and
Greisen connected with Derek Lee on a 38-yard touchdown pass.
Lee's touchdown reception was on the second offensive play from
scrimmage for Georgia after Tony Graziani was intercepted by James
Whitley during the Soul's first possession.
Bergeron left the game late in the first half with a sprained
knee and did not return.
Wide receiver Chris Jackson had ten receptions for 169 yards and
four second-half touchdowns for Georgia.
Graziani threw for 261 yards and five touchdowns and two
interceptions. Wide receiver Larry Brackins had seven receptions
for 75 yards and two touchdowns for Philadelphia (8-9).
