Australia's McEwen Wins Tour de France Stage 1

CANTERBURY, England (AP) _ Australian Robbie McEwen has won the
first stage of the Tour de France.
The sprint star won despite hurting his wrist in a crash late in
the ride from London across the English countryside. He was timed
in four hours, 39 minutes and one second and was followed by
Norway's Thor Hushovd and Belgium's Tom Boonen.
Switzerland's Fabien Cancellara keeps the overall leader's
