Heat Still Sifting through Free Agency

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ Heat coach Pat Riley says he's hopeful
Milwaukee guard Mo Williams will accept a deal to play alongside
2006 N-B-A finals M-V-P Dwyane Wade in the Heat backcourt for the
coming years.
After a weekend recruiting session, Riley says he's very
interested in Milwaukee's free agent point guard.
Williams averaged career-bests of 17.3 points and 6.1 assists
with the Bucks this past season.
The problem is money. Miami can only offer Williams the
mid-level exception, which would mean the most he could earn in a
five-year deal with the Heat is about 35-million dollars.
Free agents can begin signing contracts Wednesday.
