Can you believe it's been 12 days since the NBA Draft? 12 days and already 21 teams have assembled their summer league rosters to tangle out west in a 55-game showcase in Las Vegas.
FSU's Al Thornton made his debut Sunday against the Denver Nuggets... His statline read "2 blocks, 8 rebounds, 7 of 18 shooting, and 24 points." Sounds like he'll be ready to roll in LA... As for some of the other debuts... Greg Oden committed 10 fouls in his first 20 minutes and had to watch from the side. He redeemed himself Sunday though, putting up 13 points and 11 rebounds. Kevin Durant is averaging 18 in 2 appearances, but he's shooting just 25 percent from the field. Georgia Tech's Javarris Crittendon put up 18 in his debut with the Lakers, and Florida's Corey Brewer scored 16 points and the game-winning basket Monday against the New Orleans Hornets.
