TALLAHASSEE--- Looking at the Florida State Seminoles football schedule, you realize once again, things won't come easy. The past two seasons have kicked off with contests against the University of Miami, and despite, solid wins, the season would soon after take a turn for the worst.
Last year, the crushing loss came at home when the Noles fell 27-20 to the Clemson Tigers at home. This year the road is bumpy right away as the Noles open up on Labor Day at Clemson. In fact, the team plays three of their first four games of the season on the road.
It was last season's struggles both at home and on the road that led to widespread change in the football program. Hence the outlook for '07 offers a bit more optimism to the tough tasks that lay ahead.
"Everybody is benefiting from it. Physically and emotionally, the guys are excited about working out. We get after it and compete in the weight room. Numbers are all progressing rapidly...the bench, the squat, the cleans and overall everything is good. We're ready to roll," says Seminole Everett Brown.
