Amanda Hunter says this will be the best part of her summer. What is she talking about? She and Hillary Clark will be heading to Europe to for some soccer competition.
Hunter and Clark know each other’s moves on the soccer field but they'll get the chance to know more about each other as they travel overseas to sharpen their soccer skills.
Andy Warner, Director of International Soccer School, says the girls will go to Cologne, Germany before traveling to Holland where they will compete in the Holland Cup.
Hunter said, "It's a huge opportunity. I've never been out of the country and I'm really excited. Coaches are really supposed to be good."
Clark went to Sweden tow years ago to play in the Gothia Cup, but that doesn't diminish her excitement for this trip.
Clark said, "This year is going to be different I don't know what to expect. We're going to train with a national coach over there so it's a whole different experience when you train with a professional coach."
Andy Warner will be taking a total of 16 girls from the southeast region on a tour of Europe.
He said, "To have an experience away from home so they can bond and get some experience." Hunter adds that she hopes to learn a lot about soccer.
No doubt she will, but if nothing else, she should get a kick out of the experience.
