Mano A-Mato Part 1

"Coach, first of all, how's the summer going for you?"

"Fast, too fast, we just got done, with a big camp maybe the biggest camp we've had in the history of FSU, number-wise, and that's why I don't have a voice. I don't have the greatest voice in the world, but now I lost that."

"Now for you coming back here re-acquainting yourself with the school, and all the people. Was it easier or a little more difficult than you would have imagined?"

"It's about what I imagined, as I was saying before, I knew names, but now I had to put the names with the faces. As opposed to the name with the number, you know, and that's a lot different. I'm sure that there are still some that I don't recognize quickly, but other than that, everything's been great. The people have embraced myself and my family like you can't imagine. It's just like I woke up in a dream and here I am again."

"So it's safe to say this is probably the best scenario that could have happened with everything?"

"There's no question, for what happened to me, this is the best thing that could have happened to me and my family. The people have embraced us, it's been great therapy for everyone involved and it's just amazing. The Seminoles fans are the best."
