D-Rays Finish Rough Series Finale in the Bronx

Duncan launched a three-run drive that capped the Yankees' ten-run fourth inning. He also hit a solo shot, one day after clubbing his first major league homer.

Alex Rodriguez provided his major league-leading 34th homer and number 498 of his career. Hideki Matsui, Johnny Damon and Robinson Cano also homered as the Yankees went deep six times in a game for the first time in two years.

The Yanks batted .404 in taking three of four from the Devil Rays, socking eleven homers while scoring 49 runs on 63 hits.

Andy Pettitte allowed three runs and eight hits with eight strikeouts in six innings. He's 6 and 6.

The loss goes to 8 and 6 James Shields, who was rocked for ten runs and ten hits in three and a-third.
