Some big news in Tallahassee as former Auburn head football coach Terry Bowden will make a return to the sidelines in college football. He gets to do it with his pops by his side.
Bowden will not be a coach at FSU, instead, he will be an observer. Sounds like the former Auburn coach is ready to make a return to the coaching scene after spending the past few years in the press box.
Before Auburn, Bowden coached current FSU offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher to a NCAA Division-3 Player of the Year Award. In addition, there are more parallels as Fisher played for Bowden at Salem College and Samford, and then coached his quarterbacks at Auburn.
The current Noles like what they've heard about their coach's son:
"It's good for us because I mean other people outside of the team and the coaches and stuff will be able to see the kind of effort and kind of work Florida State is really putting in," says FSU junior wide out Greg Carr.
"I heard he's a great coach. I really don't know too much about him. I know about him enough that I just hear great things about him," adds senior defensive tackle Andre Fluellen.
