For the Seminoles, the next few weeks will be crucial, as they hope for a starting quarterback to emerge, and a running game to take shape.

While there may be a difference between a game situation and practice, the Noles offense will have the grueling task of facing two of the best in the nation every day.

Junior cornerback Tony Carter, and sophomore rover Myron Rolle are both listed on the Jim Thorpe pre-season watch list. While the Noles can't wait to see the damage they lay on opponents, the two talents are expected to help the offense get better over the next few weeks.

"It kind of makes you feel like if you can go out and practice against these guys everyday, you can go out here and do it against just about anybody. So we just feel like when we got those guys out there, it pushes you to get better but also at the same time it gives you that confidence that you know you can do it against the best," says preseason All-ACC wide out Greg Carr.
