This week Nascar is crossing the border, literally, as the Busch Series races in Montreal on Saturday, while the Nextel Cup Series picks up on Sunday at the Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania.
"To go to another country and race is awesome, so I'm very excited about next weekend, yes because we race well in Pocono, and number 2 because Montreal is such an experience," says Carl Edwards.
"It's going to be pretty cool. It's double duty... plus going from one country tot he next... it's a good step for Nascar and many expose more fans to what we have and our product," adds David Reutimann.
Even the veterans such as 6-year vet, Greg Biffle, and 15-year driver Jeff Burton are pumped for the international challenge.
"I'm really excited about it, never been to Montreal, so look forward to going up there, I know we have special paint scheme, and all sorts of things going on for that race," cites Greg Biffle.
"I'm really looking forward to it, it's a first time I've done this deal of racing in one place and going somewhere else and racing. I just have never done that before," adds Jeff Burton.
It's a challenge where a checkered flag doesn't get lost in translation.
