VSU Football Returns to the Gridiron

There's big news in town as the boys are back on the fields tossing the ball around.

It's day two for the Blazers preparing for the fall with coach David Dean at the helm.

At this point of the year, coach Dean is getting an idea of which players are in shape, and which took their informal workouts, particularly informal.

The good news so far is that coach Dean likes what he sees. In fact, the hardest part of working out during the dog days of summer, is working around the fickle weather.

"For the most part, I thought our kids have done a great job of adjusting facing a little adversity with the rain and the weather. I have been very pleased with our attitude, with our effort, and our intensity in the first two practices that we've had," says the former Offensive Coordinator, David Dean.
