Peanuts Move Weekend Series Home to Albany

The South Georgia Peanuts, presented by Security bank, would like to remind fans that this weekend’s (Thursday-Saturday) series with the Bradenton Juice has been moved to Albany. Bradenton has played the majority of its games on the road this season and this is the second series that has been moved to South Georgia this season.

“We are real excited about adding these three dates to our home schedule.” Peanuts GM Keith Michlig said. “Peanuts fans have already been great supporters of this team and now they have three more games to come to. We are also real happy to be able to add another weekend series to our schedule.”

All three games will begin at 7:10 with promotional activities still occurring during the game. Peanuts season ticket holders will have these three games added to their season ticket plan free of charge. The tickets for these games can be picked up at the Peanuts box office at any time during regular business hours.

The South Georgia Peanuts open a three-game series with the Anderson Joes tonight. It will be the final time these two teams play each other this season. South Georgia has already clinched a spot in the championship series to be played at the end of the season by winning the first half of the South Coast League season. The Peanuts currently sit in first place in the second half standings as well. South Georgia Peanuts...One Shell of a Good Time!
