While the Blazers were enjoying practice, the FAMU Rattlers enjoyed a reunion of sorts as the players visited the football offices to sign in for the start of training camp.
Even though the Rattlers are coming off a strong 7-4 season, they have already been disrespected by the MEAC, ranking at the bottom of the preseason polls.
Regardless, the confidence is flying high over on the hill. The Rattlers are glad to be a part of an improving program, and coach Carter even points out that the goal is no longer to compete... but instead, to win.
"They really are hungry and energized by where we are as a program, and also I think they're starting to focus and hone in on the proper attitude on what it takes in order to win a championship," says head coach Rubin Carter.
