Trey Braun Commits to Georgia Tech
According to head football coach Bill Ragans, Leon Lions lineman Trey Braun commmits to Georgia Tech.,

Tallahassee, FL - Trey Braun coomits to Georgia Tech University.

Trey will be a two year starter on the Offensive and Defensive Line here at Leon. Prior to transferring to Leon, he was a Sophomore starter on Lincoln High Schools State Runner-up team in 2008. As a Junior at Leon, he recorded 47 Total Tackles, with 21 of those being unassisted. He had 8 Tackles for Loss, 3 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and a Blocked Punt. He Graded out on the Offensive Line at 89% for the season, while playing for his father Mike, Leon’s Offensive Coordinator. He also recorded 62 Knock-Down Blocks. Trey was honored as the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Offensive Linemen of the week for his performance in the Gainesville Eastside Game week three.

He is currently 6’5” tall and weighs 280 lbs. He runs the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds. Trey made his early commitment to Georgia Tech over Arkansas, USF, UCF, East Carolina and Illinois among the schools that had already given scholarship offers.

Trey plans to major in Aeronautical Engineering while at Georgia Tech.

He is the son of Mike and Karen Braun. Trey has two younger brothers, Parker (13) and Joshua (9).
