Gillespie Sentenced to Probation

Former Florida A&M University head basketball coach Mike Gillespie pleaded no contest to misdemeanor stalking charges this morning.

He was sentenced to 12 months probation, and was ordered to have no contact with the victim. We'll have further details today on Eyewitness News.

FAMU fired Gillespie in August after he was arrested for stalking a woman with whom court papers say he'd had an affair.

Mike Gillespie was the head coach at FAMU for six years and took the Rattlers to two NCAA tournaments.
