The South Georgia Peanuts, presented by Security Bank, split a
double-header with the Aiken Foxhounds on Tuesday. The Peanuts won game
one, 2-1, and lost game two, 4-3.
In the first game, Joey Hooft went 3-3 and was the only Peanut with more
than one hit. Hooft along with Curtis Goodwin Sr. each had an RBI. Dustin
Taylor picked up his eight win after pitching five innings allowing one

After the game, the Peanuts announced a big trade. Anderson

South Georgia sent Chris Demons to Anderson. Wilson began the season as
the manager of the Joes before activating himself as a player. He is
currently hitting .372 in 20 games with the Joes. He spent time with the
San Francisco Giants and is the third former big leaguer to join the
Peanuts this season.
Wilson will be active for the Peanuts game on Wednesday. South Georgia and
Aiken will wrap up the four-game set with a 7:10 start. Jerome Gamble is
expected to get the start for the Peanuts.
