Perdue Cheers on Georgia Team at Little League World Series

Perdue said -- quote -- ``This is more of a thrill because this
was my Little League team 50 years ago'' after the team advanced to
today's championship game.
Perdue did NOT make it to South Williamsport last year when
Columbus, Georgia, won the title. He made it a point to catch a
game at Lamade Stadium this year, though.
It is so important to Perdue that he's missing a Southern
Governors Association meeting in Mississippi this weekend to watch
Perdue also won a friendly wager with Texas Governor Rick Perry
when Warner Robins beat Lubbock, Texas, to advance to the finals.
The Georgia flag will be displayed for a day at the Texas
statehouse in Austin.
