Deandre McDaniel, the former wide out for the Godby Cougars in Tallahassee, is well known across the Big Bend for his epic battles with the Lincoln Trojans. Now at the college level, McDaniel played a role in disappointing the Garnet and Gold faithful in the season opening loss to Clemson.

McDaniel played a large role in the final outcome, thanks to the pressure and hard hits he put on FSU Quarterback Drew Weatherford.

Last year, McDaniel starred at Hargrove Military Academy, in Virginia. Now, in his first season with the Clemson Tigers, he is reminding local football fans of the great talent that made him a star at the high school level. They only wish he would have showed his potential playing for the Florida State Seminoles, not against them.
