The Jacksonville Jaguars Are Running to Stand Still

By  |

The NFL season is finally underway, and over 15 million fantasy football owners throughout the country have their eyes on the boxscores. What they will find under the Jacksonville Jaguars will lead to many frowns.

Last year as a rookie, Maurice Jones-Drew averaged 59 yards a game, while former Florida Gator Fred Taylor racked up 76 per game.

In week one against a team that is not known for their defense, at home, the Jaguars managed just 72 rushing yards on the day.

A solid performance by new starting quarterback David Garrard was not enough to lead the Jags into the win column.
