The Florida A and M Rattlers enjoy a week off following their first win of the year, and while the coaches are hard on the recruiting trail, the players could use a little rest and relaxation during the next week before heading to the ATL for a classic.
Albert Chester's elbow is banged up, and his best receiving option, Willie Hayward hasn't been on the field in weeks, giving plenty of purpose to the bye week.
Coach Carter is in agreement, "We need 2 weeks of preparation, along with the rest time to allow some of our key players to be able to heal. It is certainly important for us to get people like Willie Hayward back."
