MIAMI (AP) _ Kyle Wright passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns
and Graig Cooper scored twice to lead Miami to a 34-17 blowout of
20th-ranked Texas A&M.
It's just Miami's second win over a ranked opponent since the
end of the 2005 season.
Miami improved to 3-and-1 holding the Aggies to 38 yards in the
first half while building a 24-0 lead. Sam Shields had six catches
for 117 yard for the Hurricanes, who had three scoring drives over
a 69-second span.
Stephen McGee had a one-yard touchdown run for the 3-and-1
Aggies and backup quarterback Jerrod Johnson threw a 33-yard
scoring pass to Martellus Bennnet with five seconds left.
Miami won its final ten Thursday night games at the Orange Bowl.
The Hurricanes are moving to Dolphin Stadium in 2008.
