Beat The Heat This Summer

Tallahassee, FL -- For summer campers looking for a way to beat the heat for the next few months, Golds Gym is offering a healthy alternative to stay cool.

"We want to involve all kids," says Golds Gym fitness director Kim Jones. "What we wanted to do was work on getting our kids healthier and improve the things that they're involved in."

"Got a good temperature the whole time, got the music playing, and we have all kinds of equipment so there's always something to do here," adds trainer Ray Uzonyi.

That's why they're offering the Summer Fitness Sports Camp. From June 18th to July 29th, kids ages 14 through 18 will learn and be trained by members of the Golds Gym staff in speed improvement, strength and conditioning as well as other areas.

Jones adds, "The younger you start off with your health and fitness, obviously the healthier you're going to be as an adult."

"If you can maintain healthy habits now, it's really going to help you in the long run with health, physical activity and fitness ability." Uzonyi adds.

The deadline to register is June 15th.
