DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Ricky Johnson scored a career-high 25 points and hit a jumper with 1 second remaining in overtime to lift Bethune-Cookman over Florida A&M 67-65 Saturday.
D'Andre Bullard had tied the game for the Rattlers by hitting a 3-pointer with 20 seconds remaining.
It was the second time this week that Johnson has provided the winning margin for the Wildcats (9-14, 4-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). His free throw with 2.1 seconds left Monday night beat Maryland-Eastern Shore 58-57.
Johnson scored 17 points in the second half, when Bethune-Cookman rallied from a 31-20 halftime deficit. Reggie Lewis scored 11 of his 17 points in the first half for the Rattlers (6-16, 3-5).
Neither team led by more than three points in the overtime period. The teams have gone to overtime twice in their last three meetings in Daytona Beach, with the Wildcats winning both at the buzzer.
