TIFTON, Ga. (February 3, 2013) - FCSAA No. 9 Tallahassee Community College racked up 19 hits en route to a 16-3 win over Abraham Baldwin (Ga.) Agricultural College on Sunday afternoon in NJCAA baseball action.

In winning its fourth straight game, Tallahassee swept the weekend home-and-home series with ABAC and improved to 7-1 on the season.

Tallahassee put four runs on the board in the first and that proved to be enough for starting pitcher Will Thompson and a quartet of relievers, who held the Stallions to just two hits over the final five innings.

Victor Cole (2-0) relieved Thompson to start the fifth and worked two scoreless innings to earn the victory.

Seven different players enjoyed multi-hit games for Tallahassee, led by East Gadsden High School graduate John Price, who was 3-for-6 with a double and five RBIs. His three-run double in the top of the first gave the Eagles a 4-0 lead and provided what proved to be the winning run on Sunday.

Clay Fenwick also went 3-for-6 and scored three runs.

Anthony Torres (2-for-6), Matt Bahnick (2-for-3), Trent Higginbothem (2-for-5), Robert Garcia (2-for-2) and James Abbatinozzi (2-for-4) had two hits each.

Tallahassee will return to action on Tuesday when it travels to Florida State College at Jacksonville for a 4 p.m. game.

The Eagles' next home game will be Thursday when it opens the TCC Diamond Classic with a 4 p.m. tilt against Gordon (Ga.) State College.
