Tallahassee, FL -- Another signing day has come and gone, and another top ten class for Florida State. The Seminoles signed 22 players this year, earning them the 9th ranked class, but the nerves were still there for Jimbo Fisher and his staff.

"On signing day, nothing is out of the ordinary," says Fisher. "There's no such thing as being out of the ordinary. With that said I sweat until they all, until I get that final fax."

Starting at seven in the morning and as letters kept being faxed in, the nerves, turned into smiles. Of the 22 signees, 12 are on the defensive side of the ball.

"I'm real ready because the next time I put on some shoulder pads, it's at Florida State so I'm excited I'm going to be doing my part of it and I'm just looking forward to it," says linebacker Matthew Thomas, a Florida State commit.

Jalen Ramsey, a five star recruit who decommited from Southern Cal to join FSU, is one of three defensive backs that will join Jeremy Pruitts' defense.

"I just feel so comfortable with Florida State, the coaches there, I trust them," says Ramsey. "They're good christian men, coming from a christian family I'm trying to stay in that. It's close to home, I get t o see my family more often, and I feel like I can come in and help them get to a championship."

"We have three guys in this class that can do it all. Really good players," adds FSU defensive coordinatior Jeremy Pruitt. "I'm going to tell you this, I wouldn't trade them for any three in the country, I don't care where they're at."
