Toronto, Canada - David Price pitched a solid 6 2-3 innings and Ben Francisco homered in his first start for Tampa Bay as the Rays salvaged a series split against the Toronto Blue Jays with a 9-4 win on Sunday.

Price (17-5) became the AL's top winner. Jered Weaver of the Angels was set to try for his 17th win later in the day.

Price gave up two runs, six hits and four walks while striking out five in a rebound game after a rare bad outing in Texas, where he was tagged by the Rangers for six runs and 10 hits.

The Rays lefty is 9-1 in his last 14 starts overall and improved to 12-2 lifetime against Toronto.
