Georgia's Jones Never Relishes Success for Long

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- After a stellar debut season at Georgia, Jarvis Jones could've moved on to the NFL.

Instead, he came back for another year with the seventh-ranked Bulldogs, figuring there were still plenty he needed to work on.

So, it shouldn't be a surprise that Jones didn't relish his remarkable performance against Missouri. He just wanted to focus on the things he didn't do right.

It's that sort of attitude that has transformed the junior linebacker into one of the country's top defensive players. If Jones has a few more games like he did last week -- two forced fumbles, two sacks, an interception he nearly brought back for a touchdown -- he could get some serious consideration for the Heisman Trophy.

The Bulldogs (2-0) host Florida Atlantic (1-1) on Saturday.
