Moultrie, GA - The Colquitt County wrestling team doesn't practice in a typical wrestling room. It's an old gym down the road from the high school, adjacent to the Board of Education building. But this is where some of the school's best train. In fact, it's where the school's all-time best hits the mats.

"We used to say he's like a spider monkey," sophomore wrestler Hudson May said. "He'd always get on top of you and whenever he did, he'd wrap his legs in or he'd throw an arm in and get your arm behind you."

"My older brother he started when he was in high school," senior wrestler Anderson Glenn said. "He got me started and its been really good to me."

It's been more than really good to Glenn. The 138-pounder broke the school's career wins record (previously 135) and the single season record (previously 42).

"I felt like he could do it," sophomore wrestler Garrett May said. I knew he had it in him to do it because he has the drive out here, you know?"

"I didn't know I was gonna break the all times record, but I knew I was gonna get up there to close to around 40 and the record was like 42," Glenn said. "But I didn't know I was gonna win this many this year."

Last season, Glenn didn't make weight at sectionals, automatically disqualifying him for the state tournament. It's the one thing that has eluded him throughout his career.

"It's possible. I know I can do it but I know it's gonna be tough because I have a lot of good competitors."

And with a state title, his legacy will be complete.
