Madison County Falls In State Title Game

Orlando, FL -- For the second consecutive year, the Madison County football season ends in Orlando, without a state championship. The Cowboys lost 24-17 to University.

Madison County jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first half before the Suns scored 24 unanswered points to win their first state title in school history. Keyon Burton rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

Madison County ends the season with a (12-2) record.
