TALLAHASSEE, FL, JUNE. 26, 2014 - Rising Leon Senior D’Anfernee McGriff was recently invited to participate in the 2015 Under Armor All-America High School Football Game.
"It's amazing, you know as a kid coming up, I would always see the game on TV and I just always wondered like man I wish I could play in that game, and now that I have the opportunity, I'm just going to represent my school and my family well," McGriff said.
McGriff, who is currently committed to Auburn, is ranked as a 4-star athlete by the nation’s top recruiting analysts and the recipient of over 25 offers from collegiate football programs.
"It'll actually give me a little taste of college going against the top notch guys and prepare me for the next level. It feels great to actually go against competition, it's going to be a ball," McGriff said,
Now in its 8th year, the Under Armor All-America High School Football Game gathers the nation’s t op high school football talent to take place in a one-of-a-kind football experience. Since the inaugural game in 2008, the Under Armor All-America High School Game has produced several NFL professionals, including first-round picks Julio Jones, AJ Green, Trent Richardson, EJ Manuel, and the 2013 #2 overall NFL Draft pick Luke Joeckel. The game will be held in January 2015 at a Florida location.

The dynamic 6’2”, 230-pound McGriff is an athletic quarterback, capable of running the 40-yard dash in an impressive 4.3 seconds.
The highly sought-after junior ran for over 2086 yards and 30 touchdowns in the 2013-2014 season, while passing for over 1,000
yards and two touchdowns. In his first year of playing the quarterback position, McGriff won the FSU Touchdown Club Offensive Player of The Week three times in the last season. He was recognized for his efforts against Mosley High School, where he rushed for 227 yards and scored four touchdowns, and against Providence High
School, where McGriff rushed for 317 yards and scored six touchdowns. McGriff is known for his violent and explosive running style, including multiple game runs of over 50-plus yards and at least two 70-yard and 80-yard jolts. McGriff was the first Junior to
be named a team Captain during the 2013 season. McGriff received the Tallahassee Quarterback Club’s prestigious Charlie Ward Offensive Player of the year award. Four Quarters Online designated him The Most Impactful Player in The Big Bend. He was
also named First Team Offense All Big Bend and First Team Offense North Florida. D’Anfernee is currently ranked in ESPN’s top 300, debuting at the number 204 slot, and is ranked the number four running back in the state of Florida. He is the nephew of former
Leon High School All-American and Hall of Famer Tamarick Vanover. McGriff has been pursued by many colleges across the country, garnering multiple scholarship offers from powerhouse football institutions including Florida State University, Auburn,
