Florida State is 7-1 historically against Savannah State and will meet for the first time in the postseason.
Scott Sitz (9-1) will take the mound for FSU and Kyle McGowin will toe the rubber for Savannah State (12-1, 1.33 ERA, 129 strikeouts).
McGowin doesn't lack confidence and isn't intimidated with the prospect of pitching in front of a large crowd when he takes the hill against the home team, Florida State, at Dick owser stadium.
"I just go out there thinking its another game. We played Georgia Tech, they average the same amount of people pretty much and it's just another game and everyone is there to watch us play. They are no better than us, everyone is the same and you just happen to be on TV and thats a great feeling," McGowin said.
