Tallahassee, FL - Since arriving at Florida State, Rashad Greene has been the Seminoles top receiver. He's led the teams in receptions and yards each year. He credits his relationship with his quarterbacks.
"We work on routes all the time," he said. "Us and the quarterbacks are like couples. You know, we always spend time together. Just to get that timing down and that feel and that trust."
The six-foot, 180 pound Greene has a team-leading 299 yards and five touchdowns. Two of those scores coming against Boston College.
"It was all just working on technique and understanding what defense they were in and what coverage," he said. "Just doing what we practice on every week."
But you can't practice the current streak he holds. Greene has at least one touchdown in catch in five straight games. This is the second time he's accomplished that. That's tops among active ACC players and he's fifth on FSU's all-time list.
"It's definitely paying off," he said.
Even while chasing history, Greene said it never catches his mind.
