Tallahassee, FL - Richard Bevis has been shooting sporting clays for more than 20 years. He still isn't a perfect marksman, but he knows it takes a long time to master.
Bevis was a skeet shooter before turning to sporting clays. He was once ranked fifth nationally with skeets, but decided it was time to take it to the next level.
Five years ago, at the age of 60, Bevis was selected to the Florida State Sporting Clays Team, one of 10 members chosen.
"It was my aspiration to be a great shot or be as great as shot as I can be," Bevis said. "I'm good...sometimes. I'm my own worst enemy other times."
