Tallahassee, FL - Sixteen of the top NJCAA men’s basketball teams in the Southeast will be in action at Tallahassee Community College on Saturday, October 9 when the 2010 Southeastern Jamboree tips off at the Eagledome.
This year’s event will feature teams from Florida, Georgia and Alabama, all of whom will play in front of coaches representing a who’s who of four-year schools nationwide. Each of the 16 teams will play three games, which consists of two 23-minutes halves with a running clock.
Three games will be played at once, starting on the hour, beginning at 10 a.m. The final round of games will begin at 5 p.m.
TCC will take the floor at 10 a.m. against Florida State College at Jacksonville, 1 p.m. against Albany (Ga.) Technical College and 4 p.m. against St. Johns River Community College.
Other teams scheduled to participate in the 2010 Southeastern Jamboree include: Brevard Community College, College of Central Florida, College of Coastal Georgia, Daytona State College, Faulkner State (Ala.) Community College, Gulf Coast Community College, Marion Military (Ala.) Institute, Miami Dade College, Middle Georgia College, Pasco-Hernando Community College, Pensacola State College and Santa Fe College.
