Tallahassee, FL -- Nick Graganella is hoping for another great season at TCC.

"Obviously I would like to have a big year, put up some big numbers, but I'm all about wins."

As a freshman he earned second team all panhandle conferenc ehonors, hitting .307 and scoring 31 runs, also catching the attention of Florida State. He signed with the Seminoles last Novemeber.

"Everyday I come out to this field and I think about how it's going to be next year compaired to this and compared to high school ball, but I have to stay focused on this season and this team and these guys."

Mike McLeod enters his 23rd year as head coach, and compares Nick, to some of the top outfielders to come through the program.

"I've had some pretty good ones. We had two major league guys last year that were in our same outfield in 2005, (Lorenzo) Cain and (Michael) Saunders, and Nick runs them down as good as those guys."

With compliments like that, he's anxiously awaiting his turn to wear the garnet and gold.

"The last few years I was like I can see myself on that field like, I can play with these guys, trying to be optomistic about it, and you just kepe working hard every day and it was just amazing getting the oppotunity to do that next year."

The former NFC Eagle will be a second generation Seminole. His father lettered in football for FSU in the early 1980's.
