Tallahassee, FL - The USTA Tallahassee Tennis Challenger, in its 19th year on the USTA Pro Circuit, is the third Challenger of the 2011
season and is one of two USTA Pro Circuit Challengers held in Florida.
Expected in this year’s main draw is James Blake, a central figure in American tennis, who received a wild card into the tournament. Blake peaked at No. 4 in the world in 2006 after reaching the quarterfinals of the US Open, upsetting Rafael Nadal en route and losing to Andre Agassi in a five-set thriller. He has captured 10 ATP World Tour singles titles and holds
a 21-12 career record (18-11 in singles) in Davis Cup, where he was a member of the championship team in 2007. Blake will compete in the tournament Pro-Am and play with breast cancer survivors.
