"It's heart, it's desire, it's passion... that's what we are about in Bainbridge."
With only one game left in the regular season, the Bainbridge boys basketball team is going to be hard to stop.
"A 19 game win streak is a lot, but there is still a lot ahead of us." says Junior Rodney Glenn.
"We started out 3-2 and then we kind of got on a roll, and we did this the past couple of years, but we are getting better on defense. We score the ball easier than a lot of teams Ive had in the past." adds coach Rickey McCullough.
And although success is common for the Bearcats, this year's team seems to have a little something extra...
" The chemistry of the team is building because a lot of the guys playing now played last year, with the exception of one of two people so, the chemistry is great, that's the one difference between this year and last year is chemistry." says Senior Rohan Gaines.
"We're kind of short compared to most people but we just play a lot of defense and , that's what brings out the victories in all of our games." adds Senior Shawn Samuels.
Regional play is right around the corner.. after a their last regular season game against Cairo.. there is only one thing left on their mind.
"All everyone wants to do is win now, because you have to win to advance."
"Win or go home, that's it, so we just going to come and play hard everyday and hopefully we'll win."
