Tallahassee, FL - As stop watches beeped and radar guns clicked, the futures of hundreds of high school baseball players were at stake.
Local Players from Chiles to Florida High to Maclay came out for the Next Level Southeast Showcase this past weekend.
There were some with personal goals in mind.
"Just so I can get to college, look better, look at everything," said Hunter Filigim, a Junior Pitcher and Outfielder for Florida High. "That way they know what you're doing. Look what you look like."
But local prospects weren't the only ones in town. Those as far away as Canada came out for the event.
"It's really important to help my family pay for college and it's, like, just easier to get to college," said Caleb Rankin, a Junior Pitcher for Robinson High (Tampa, FL).
